Metropolis GZM presented HARMONY at the Amsterdam Drone Week hybrid conference that took place last 29th March 2022.
What is the ADW2022 conference?
Amsterdam Drone Week is the global platform for sharing knowledge on current air solutions, potential innovations and vital regulations. A top-level meeting point where all key players, big and small, commercial and non-commercial, from various industries, knowledge institutes and authorities, gather to co-create and co-operate. Thus, it was important for us to be present there and showcase the latest developments of the demos and pilots.
Why did HARMONY participate?
Drone delivery offers the potential to transport loads of 1 kg to 10 tons or more over both short (last mile, Urban Air Mobility) and long distances, either on routes that are unfeasible / uneconomical for other modes of transport or that offer new business opportunities.
For this reason, Elena Patatouka from Trikala, Greece presented the demonstration of drone deliveries currently ongoing in at that city as part of the local HARMONY’s activities promoting urban and regional air mobility. She also gave an overview of the other project demonstrations of planned in 2022, where top-tier industrial companies are involved, such as Airbus, Arrival, and GRIFF Aviation are involved.
The overall panel was as follows:
UIC2 Panel – Sustainable Urban (Air) Mobility Plan
ADW Mainstage · Urban Air Mobility
- Adriana Witkowska-Konieczny (Metropolis GZM),
